Almost two weeks ago, I left on a trip to North Carolina. It was a loooooooong drive, but pretty fun. So I put together this travel diary for you all to hopefully enjoy.
DAY 1 > SUNDAY, 12/3/17
We left around 11:30 a.m., and I grabbed two bags of Hershey kisses before getting on the road.
(Don’t judge the blurriness, I was driving fast on a highway).
Β Then, we stopped in Metropolis, Illinois, to take pictures by the huge Super Man statue.
At 1:30, we stopped to eat at Shake and Steak for lunch. An hour later, we kept going.
Here are more blurry pictures of a lake, also taken while on the highway.
It was a looooooong drive, but at midnight we finally arrived at a hotel in Kodak, Tennessee.
DAY 2> MONDAY, 12/4/17
We left at around 9 a.m. to drive the remaining 3 hours to Boone, NC.
We got there and ate some lunch. Then we went straight to the Operation Christmas Child processing center.
I worked from 2:00-7:00 taping shoeboxes closed.
After dinner we went to the hotel, where I ate cookie dough and read the House of Hades.
DAY 3> TUESDAY, 12/4/17
We went shopping at some small shops in a little town this morning. I got a cute snowman candle, three Christmas ornaments, a glass pig decoration, and a pig stuffed animal. π
Afterwards, we went to the Processing Center again, from 4:00-8:30.
When we went to the hotel, I read more. π
DAY 4> WEDNESDAY, 12/5/17
Today we went straight to the Processing Center in the morning for the last time. After that, I went sightseeing and got some great photos.
We went to an overlook, and then a very small ‘waterfall’ in the woods. XD Hopefully you like the photos?
Next, we headed back towards the hotel in Tennessee the first night.
I like these photos. :0
Once we got to the hotel, I read and did a facemask. π
There you have it!
That’s the end of my travel diary! On Thursday I finished the drive home, but there are no pictures and all we did was sit in a bus all day. So I’ll end it here. π
Sorry for not posting for almost three weeks?? I’ve been pretty busy and this post took me a while to create.

I taped and put them in the cartons! And were those steps taking them out of the cartons, checking for money, and then looking for inappropriate items?
